3. YouTube API Services
Clipur uses the YouTube API Services to let you connect your YouTube channel and to measure the performance of clips you submit to campaigns. By connecting your YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

What we access and why
- Your channel identity (channel ID and name) - read once when you connect, so we can confirm a submitted clip was posted from your own channel. This prevents people from claiming payouts for videos they did not create.
- Public video statistics (such as view counts) for the specific videos you submit to a campaign - used to calculate what you have earned.
We do not upload, modify, or delete anything on your YouTube channel, and we do not access private videos, comments, subscriber lists, or messages. We never sell YouTube data or use it for advertising.
Revoking access
You can disconnect your YouTube account at any time from your Clipur profile page. You can also revoke Clipur's access directly through Google's security settings at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
Storage and deletion
Authorization tokens are stored securely and are used only for the purposes described above. When you disconnect your YouTube account, or delete your Clipur account, the stored tokens and channel identifiers are removed. You may also request deletion of your data by contacting us using the details at the end of this policy.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve our services
- Process payments and track campaign performance
- Verify view counts and engagement metrics
- Communicate with you about your account
- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
